This small wind chime hangs a short run of rainbow-coloured leaf shapes from a driftwood frame, strung with raffia cord and pinewood beads. Handmade in Indonesia, it measures approximately 26 x 12 cm and is the most compact of the leaf-shaped chimes in this range.
Symbolism
Its light, playful drop suits a small window, shelf or plant corner where a larger chime would feel out of place. As with other wind chimes, many people hang it in the belief that its sound helps clear negative energy from the space around it.
How to use
- Hang near a window, on a plant hook or in a sheltered corner of a balcony or porch.
- Keep away from constant strong sun and heavy rain, since driftwood is a natural material that can weather over time.
- Untangle the cords gently by hand after unpacking rather than pulling on the leaves.
