This dreamcatcher is handcrafted in Indonesia from bamboo and cotton, with vivid rainbow threads woven around a bamboo ring. Including the hanging cord it reaches approximately 125 cm, with the ring and threads measuring around 115 cm.
Spiritual meaning
The design takes inspiration from the payung, the temple umbrella used throughout Bali for different ceremonies, traditionally believed to invite good spirits while warding off harmful ones. In dreamcatcher folklore more generally, the woven web is said to let good dreams through while trapping bad ones.
How to use
Hang it near a window or on a bedroom wall so the threads can move and catch the light. Its size also suits a hallway or living room as an eye-catching wall feature.
