This dreamcatcher is handcrafted in Indonesia from bamboo and cotton, with vivid rainbow threads wrapped around a bamboo ring. Including the cord it measures approximately 120 cm, with the ring and threads reaching around 90 cm.
Spiritual meaning
The design draws on the payung, the temple umbrella used across Bali for different ceremonies, traditionally believed to draw in good spirits while keeping harmful ones away. Dreamcatcher folklore more widely holds that the woven web catches bad dreams and lets good ones through.
How to use
Hang it near a window or on a bedroom wall so it can move and catch the light. Its bold colours also make it a striking feature for a living room or hallway.
