To use it, you'll need
You set this drum down and the mandala leaf pattern draws the eye before you play a single note, colourful without feeling loud. Tap one tongue and a warm, mellow tone rolls out, gentle enough to slip into the background of a quiet room.
Spiritual meaning
Mandala patterns have long been used in meditative practice across several spiritual traditions, valued for their symmetry and their role in focusing attention. Paired with the low, rounded tones of a steel tongue drum, the design supports the kind of slow, unhurried playing many people use for grounding or reflection.
How to use
- Sit comfortably with the drum on your lap
- Tap the tongues with the included mallets, or try fingertips for a softer sound
- Play one note at a time, allowing it to fade fully
- Suitable for meditation, slow rhythmic play, or simple relaxation
