Spiritual meaning
Argan trees once covered much of North Africa and are now far more limited in number, which has long made argan oil one of the more prized oils to source, largely produced in Morocco. Historically, the nut's tough shell meant it was gathered with great effort, and the oil has since become closely associated with beauty rituals passed down through generations.
