You light one of these sticks when you want to clear the air in a room, whether after an argument, a long week, or before settling into a meditation practice. Each box holds eight handcrafted resin incense sticks made in India, burned one at a time.

Spiritual meaning

White sage is traditionally associated with cleansing and purifying spaces, and many people use it to mark a fresh start or to bring a sense of clarity to a room. Lighting a stick is often treated as a small ritual in itself, a way of resetting the atmosphere before a new task or practice begins.

How to use

  • Light the tip, let it catch, then blow out the flame
  • Rest the stick in a heat-resistant holder away from drafts
  • Allow it to burn for 50 to 60 minutes, never leaving it unattended
  • Open a window afterwards to let the smoke clear

Care

  • Keep in a dry place at room temperature, away from humidity

Ask about this piece

Measurements, materials, how a thing is meant to be used, whether two pieces go together: ask and a person answers. Natural stone and hand-made work vary from piece to piece, so the photograph shows one example rather than the exact item. Write to us.
