The Volcanic Foot Stone in an Oval Shape is a lightweight pumice-style stone with a simple, rounded profile, finished with a cotton string for hanging. Its naturally porous surface is designed for exfoliating rough, dry skin on the feet, hands and body.
Symbolism
Pumice, a light, porous volcanic rock formed from cooling lava full of trapped gas bubbles, has been used to smooth rough skin since antiquity, with records of its use going back to ancient Greece and Rome. The plain oval shape is closest to how pumice has traditionally been used, without any added novelty.
How to use
- Soak the stone and the area of skin to be treated in warm water.
- Gently rub the stone over rough patches, such as heels, in one direction.
- Rinse the skin and the stone thoroughly afterwards.
- Hang to dry fully by the attached string between uses.
