Spiritual meaning
The red string is traditionally worn in many Asian cultures for protection and to support spiritual awareness and mindfulness. The endless knot woven into the design is a widely recognised symbol of peace found in Buddhist iconography. Its interlacing lines have no visible beginning or end, and in Buddhist tradition this is said to represent the endless wisdom of the Buddha, as well as the interconnection of all things, of cause and effect, and of the cycle of life itself.
