To use it, you'll need
You come in from a cold morning walk and the house still smells faintly of outside air, so you add spruce oil to the diffuser to hold onto that feeling while you get on with the day. Steam-distilled from the needles and twigs of Tsuga canadensis sourced from the USA, this 50ml bottle carries an earthy, resinous scent close to a walk through conifers.
Energetic properties
Forest and conifer oils are traditionally associated with grounding and with bringing an outdoor, wintry feeling indoors. Many people diffuse spruce during the colder months for this reason, often blending it with citrus or other wood oils.
How to use
- Add three to five drops to a diffuser or oil burner.
- Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin contact, and patch test first.
- Do not ingest.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Ask a doctor before use during pregnancy.
