Single Cotton Bedspread & Wall Hanging - Hamsa 130x200cm
A single Hamsa hand is printed at the centre of this cotton bedspread, sized at 130 x 200 cm to fit a single bed or a narrower stretch of wall.
Symbolism
Known across North Africa and the Middle East as the Hand of Fatima or the Hand of Miriam, the Hamsa is traditionally hung in the home as a protective emblem, believed to turn away the evil eye and bring good fortune to those inside. It is often placed near an entrance or above a bed, where the tradition is thought to matter most.

Ask about this piece
Measurements, materials, how a thing is meant to be used, whether two pieces go together: ask and a person answers. Natural stone and hand-made work vary from piece to piece, so the photograph shows one example rather than the exact item. Write to us.
