Scots Pine Essential Oil 50ml
Bringing in firewood on a winter afternoon, the smell of pine is hard to separate from the season itself. Steam-distilled from the needles of Pinus sylvestris using dry distillation, it has a sharp, clean, forest-green scent close to a walk through a pine wood.
Energetic properties
Pine has featured in Northern European and Scandinavian tradition for centuries, burned or scattered to mark the darker months of the year. In aromatherapy tradition it is associated with vitality and a clear head, and it blends well with cedarwood, rosemary or juniper for a woodland-style mix.
How to use
- Diffuse a few drops to freshen a room
- Dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin, and patch test first
- Not for internal use
