This adult-sized face covering is printed with a colourful calavera, or decorated skull, design on a soft polyester and cotton blend. Adjustable elastic loops give a comfortable fit, and an internal pocket can hold a PM2.5 filter for extra protection.
Symbolism
The decorated skull, or calavera, is closely tied to Día de los Muertos traditions in Mexico, where it is used to honour and celebrate the memory of loved ones with colour and warmth rather than fear. Wearing this print is a way of carrying that spirit of remembrance into an everyday accessory, in keeping with Karmagick's range of culturally rich designs.
How to use
- Position over the nose and mouth and adjust the elastic loops behind the ears
- Hand or machine wash before first use and after each wear
- Air dry away from direct heat to keep the colours vivid
- Slide a PM2.5 filter into the internal pocket if extra filtration is wanted, replacing it regularly
