Rainbow Dreamcatcher 140 cm - Pastel
Handcrafted in Indonesia from bamboo and cotton, this large dreamcatcher combines a bamboo ring with soft pastel rainbow threads. With its hanging cord it measures approximately 140 cm, and around 110 cm across the ring and threads alone.
Spiritual meaning
Its design draws on the payung, the temple umbrella found throughout Bali, where different styles are used in different ceremonies and are traditionally thought to attract good spirits and keep harmful ones at bay. Dreamcatcher tradition more broadly holds that the woven web filters what passes through it, catching bad dreams and letting good ones through.
How to use
Hang it by a window or on a bedroom wall, where light can pass through the threads. Its scale and gentle colours also make it a soft, decorative feature for a living room or reading nook.
