Handcrafted in Indonesia from bamboo and cotton, this dreamcatcher pairs a bamboo ring with soft pastel rainbow threads. With its cord it measures approximately 120 cm, and around 90 cm across the ring and threads.
Spiritual meaning
Its design is inspired by the payung, the Balinese temple umbrella carried in different styles for different ceremonies and traditionally linked with inviting good spirits and turning away harmful ones. In broader dreamcatcher tradition, the woven web is said to filter dreams, catching the bad and letting the good pass through.
How to use
Hang it by a window or above a bed, where the threads can move gently and catch the light. Its softer palette also suits a nursery or reading corner.
