Pearl & Driftwood Cross Wind Chime
Pearl-toned capiz shell discs hang from a cross-shaped driftwood frame in this wind chime, finished with raffia cord, pinewood beads and coffee beans. It is handmade in Indonesia and measures approximately 20 x 46 cm.
Spiritual meaning
The cross is a long-standing symbol of faith and protection, often hung at an entrance or in a garden to mark that meaning. Paired with a wind chime, traditionally believed to disperse negative energy with its sound, the piece serves as both a spiritual marker and a softly moving decoration.
How to use
- Hang near a front door, porch or garden trellis where the breeze can reach it.
- Indoors, position it near a window that opens so the sound can carry.
- Choose a sheltered spot if possible, since driftwood and shell can fade or weather with prolonged sun and rain.

Measurements, materials, how a thing is meant to be used, whether two pieces go together: ask and a person answers. Natural stone and hand-made work vary from piece to piece, so the photograph shows one example rather than the exact item. Write to us.
