Despite its name, this bath sponge is not a natural sea sponge but a blend of jute, cotton, polyester fibre and a sponge layer, shaped into a compact brown block.
Symbolism
Jute's rough, natural texture is what gives this piece most of its exfoliating bite, even blended with the softer sponge layer underneath.
Care
- Work the sponge over damp skin in gentle, circular movements
- Rinse thoroughly after each use and let it dry fully in an airy spot
- For external use only; stop if the skin feels irritated
- Allow it to dry completely between uses to keep the fibres fresh
