This back scrub is woven from natural jute and cotton fibre into a single long strip, long enough to reach across the back and shoulders.
Symbolism
Jute has been spun into cordage and coarse cloth for centuries across South Asia, and using it here keeps the scrub close to a single, natural fibre rather than a synthetic blend.
How to use
- Hold an end in each hand and draw the scrub across the back on damp skin, using gentle, even strokes
- Rinse it after each use and hang it fully open to dry
- For external use only; stop if the skin feels irritated
- Let it dry completely between uses to keep the fibres fresh
