Myrrh Pure Fragrance Oil - 500ml
Myrrh pure fragrance oil is supplied undiluted in a 500ml bottle, made to scent a room rather than the skin. It is named after one of the oldest resins burned by humans, warm, dark and slightly smoky rather than sweet.
Symbolism
Myrrh has been burned as incense and used in ritual and ceremony for thousands of years across many cultures, from ancient temples to its place among the gifts recorded in the Christmas story. In fragrance and ritual tradition it is closely tied to sacred space and quiet reflection.
How to use
- A few drops in an oil burner over a tea light release the scent slowly
- Use a heat-resistant burner and never leave a burning flame unattended
- Add to candle wax or soap base during making, to the maker's own recipe
- A drop or two refreshes potpourri that has faded
- Keep out of reach of children and pets, and away from the eyes
