This back scrub twists jute together with cotton and polyester fibre into a single cord long enough to reach across the back and shoulders.
Symbolism
Jute has been spun into cordage and coarse textiles for centuries across South Asia, and that same twisted-cord structure carries over into a scrub built for the bath rather than for rope.
Care
- Hold an end in each hand and draw the scrub across the back on damp skin, using gentle, even strokes
- Rinse thoroughly after each use and hang it open to dry
- For external use only; stop if the skin feels irritated
- Allow it to dry completely between uses to keep the fibres fresh
