To use it, you'll need
Light this stick before you settle into the evening and let a warm, earthy patchouli smoke drift through the room. The incense paste is hand-rolled onto a bamboo stick, so it burns slowly and evenly from one end to the other.
Spiritual meaning
Patchouli has long been used in incense blends across India, where its deep, musky scent is traditionally linked to grounding and to calming a restless mind. Many people burn it during quiet moments of reflection or meditation, or simply to change the mood of a room after a long day.
How to use
- Hold the tip at an angle over a flame until it catches, then blow out the flame so the stick smoulders
- Rest it in a heatproof holder or dish that can catch falling ash
- Keep a window slightly open and never leave the incense burning unattended
- Keep away from children, pets, curtains and other flammable materials
