This round wall panel is hand-carved from Suar wood by Indonesian artisans, with the figure of Ganesh carved at its centre. It measures 40 cm across and weighs approximately 850 g, finished to show the natural grain of the wood.
Symbolism
Ganesh is traditionally honoured in Hindu tradition as the remover of obstacles and a patron of new beginnings, often placed near an entrance or workspace as a mark of good fortune.
