Rows of Buddha figures cut from hand-painted aluminium give this hanging mobile its calm, symmetrical look, finished with beads and cotton tassels along the lower edge. Working beaten aluminium by hand is a Balinese technique originally used to make offering boxes for temple ceremonies, later adapted into decorative mobiles such as this one. A mother-and-daughter workshop makes each piece, so small variations between mobiles are part of the process.

- Suspend indoors as a decorative accent above a shelf or doorway
- Wipe gently with a dry cloth and keep out of direct weather
