To use it, you'll need
This glazed ceramic burner has a smooth, flowing silhouette. It measures 10 x 11 x 9 cm.
Symbolism
In Zen tradition, flowing, rounded forms are used to suggest calm and ease. Lit smoke follows the curve of the piece down to its base.
How to use
- Place a backflow incense cone in the recess and light the tip.
- Set the burner on a heat-resistant, stable surface, away from curtains and paper.
- Let the flame die down on its own so the smoke can flow downward.
- Never leave burning incense unattended, keep it away from children and pets, and air the room.
