This argan oil is pressed from the nuts of Argania spinosa, a tree native to Morocco where much of the world's supply is still produced. It has a light golden yellow colour and a mild, nutty aroma, and is prized as one of the rarer carrier oils available.
Spiritual meaning
Argan trees once covered large parts of North Africa, and the oil made from their nuts has been part of Moroccan skin and hair care for generations. Rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, it is traditionally used to nourish the skin and hair and to help counter the visible effects of time and sun exposure.
