Spiritual meaning
Palo Santo, meaning holy wood, comes from the same South American tradition as white sage, used for generations to clear a space and mark the start of a ceremony. Compared to white sage, its scent is milder, warm and slightly sweet, with a light woody note that many find easier to live with day to day.

- Light the tip of a stick briefly, then blow out the flame so it smoulders and releases smoke
- Set it on a heat-resistant holder, away from curtains, papers, or other flammable items
- Let it burn for a few minutes at a time, then extinguish fully and never leave it unattended
- Air the room during and after burning
