Symbolism
Pumice, a light, porous volcanic rock formed from cooling lava full of trapped gas bubbles, has been used to smooth rough skin since antiquity, with records of its use going back to ancient Greece and Rome. This traditional shape is the closest of the range to that long, unbroken history.
How to use
- Soak the stone and the area of skin to be treated in warm water.
- Gently rub the stone over rough patches, such as heels, in one direction.
- Rinse the skin and the stone thoroughly afterwards.
- Hang to dry fully by the attached string between uses.
