Carved from a single piece of solid suar wood, this 40 cm statue is finished in a soft mint vintage tone and depicts the Happy Buddha, seated with his familiar broad smile and rounded form. Symbolism
Also known as Budai, the Happy Buddha is a smiling figure from East Asian folklore traditionally linked to contentment, good fortune, and abundance, distinct from depictions of the historical Buddha.
