Spiritual meaning
The nine colours are traditionally linked to Balinese temple ceremonies and to the nine cardinal directions associated with the guardian deities of the Mother Temple. The Om charm represents the sacred sound of Om, often described as the sound of serenity in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, symbolising mindfulness and a settled, peaceful state of mind. Together, the string and charm are meant as a reminder to return to stillness and presence in each moment.
