Naturally dark in tone, this teardrop-shaped konjac sponge is the bamboo charcoal version, made from the fibre of the konjac plant. Its texture is soft yet slightly more textured than the plain sponge, making it popular for a deeper-feeling cleanse.
Charcoal-infused konjac sponges follow a well-known tradition in Japanese and Korean skincare, where konjac fibre has long been valued for gentle daily cleansing.
How to use
- Soak the sponge in warm water for a minute or two, until it softens.
- Squeeze out the excess water and massage gently over damp skin or with your usual cleanser.
- Rinse well after each use and hang it up to air dry completely.
- Replace the sponge roughly every four to six weeks with regular use.
