Packing a lunchbox in the morning rush, the scent of Tangerine oil in the diffuser is bright, sweet and instantly cheerful, close to mandarin but slightly sharper. Cold-pressed from the peel of a tangerine variety of Citrus reticulata grown in Brazil, one of the major citrus-growing regions of South America.
Symbolism
Tangerines and their close mandarin relatives are widely linked in many cultures to good cheer and warm gatherings, and the oil carries the same bright, easy character as the fruit. Many people diffuse it in the morning or blend it with vanilla or other sweet, warm oils.
How to use
- Diffuse in the morning, alone or blended with warmer, sweeter oils.
- Dilute before any skin contact and patch test first, as with all citrus oils.
- Avoid direct sun or sunbeds on treated skin for the following hours.
- Do not ingest, and keep away from children and pets.
