Energetic properties
Citronella comes from lemongrass-family grasses and carries a fresh, sharp brightness that has long made it a familiar choice for outdoor evenings. In aromatic tradition it's regarded as an uplifting, energising scent, better suited to gatherings on a porch or balcony than to quiet indoor meditation.
How to use
- Light the tip until it catches, then blow out the flame so the stick smoulders.
- Stand it in a stable, heat-resistant incense holder to catch the falling ash.
- Burn it outdoors or in a ventilated space, away from anything flammable.
- Never leave it burning unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
