Symbolism
The Astamangal are the eight auspicious symbols of Tibetan Buddhism, traditionally regarded as bringers of blessing, good fortune and protection. Keeping the set on a shelf or altar is, for many people, a quiet reminder of those qualities even when the incense is not lit.
How to use
- Light one end of a rope string and let the flame take hold briefly
- Blow it out so the rope smoulders, then rest it in the silver plated holder
- Burn in a ventilated room on a heatproof surface, never unattended
- Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable
