Musk scents are traditionally associated with grounding and protection in many incense traditions, often burned to settle a space before ritual work or rest. This masala incense stick is hand rolled from a paste of incense, resins and plant material pressed onto a bamboo core, a method long practised in Indian incense making.
How to use
- Place the stick upright in a heatproof incense holder
- Light the tip, let it flame briefly, then blow it out so it smoulders
- Set the holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts
- Never leave burning incense unattended and keep away from children and pets
- Aerate the room while it burns and afterwards
