This is a masala incense, hand rolled from a paste of incense, resins and plant material pressed onto a bamboo core, a technique long practised in Indian incense making.
How to use
- Stand the stick in a heatproof incense holder
- Light the tip, allow a brief flame, then blow it out so it smoulders slowly
- Place the holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface, clear of curtains and papers
- Never leave burning incense unattended and keep it out of reach of children and pets
- Air the room during and after burning
