Organic black tea blended with cinnamon, loose in a small tin that keeps the leaves dry and the aroma where it belongs. The cup is warm and round, with a spice that stays gentle instead of turning sharp: a tea for slow mornings and for the quiet stretch of the afternoon.

Symbolism

Cinnamon has been traded, burned and brewed for thousands of years. How to use

  • Use one heaped teaspoon of leaves per cup.
  • Pour water just off the boil and let it steep for three to four minutes.
  • Taste before adding milk or a slice of lemon: the cinnamon is already sweet on its own.
  • Close the tin after use and keep it away from heat, damp and strong smells.
