Natural Soap Bag - Washed Jute
Made from washed jute, softened for a gentler feel against the skin, this small drawstring bag holds a bar of soap and lets it lather through the weave while washing.
Symbolism
Jute is one of the most widely grown natural fibres, traditionally used for textiles and woven goods, and washing it here softens the coarser texture that raw jute is known for. Once the soap inside wears down, the bag can be reused with a fresh bar.
How to use
- Place a bar of soap inside and pull the drawstring closed
- Wet the bag and work it into a lather over the skin
- Rinse and hang it up to dry between uses
- Replace the soap inside once it is used up
