Made in Bali from hand-blown recycled glass melted onto a substantial Gamal wood base, it weighs over ten kilograms and needs a dedicated spot on the floor or a large piece of furniture. The double stand supports the bowl's considerable size and keeps it stable.

Symbolism

Balinese makers treat a large-scale piece like this as an amplified version of the same idea running through the whole range: glass shaped by fire, settling permanently onto wood shaped by years of growth.
