Melt and Pour 475g Soap Kit
This kit provides a 475g tub of soap base designed to be melted down and reset into your own bars, whether for personal use or as a simple hobby. The base can be melted in a microwave in short bursts, or gently in a bain-marie or heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water.
Melt-and-pour soap making is one of the more accessible forms of soap crafting, skipping the caustic soda handling that traditional cold-process soap requires. Colour, fragrance oils or dried petals can all be stirred in once the base has melted, before it is poured into a mould to set.
How to use
- Cut the base into chunks and melt gently, stirring until fully liquid
- Stir in any fragrance, colour or dried botanicals once melted
- Pour into a mould and leave to set fully before removing
