Straight after a workout or a hot shower, lemon tea tree is one of the crisper oils people like to have diffusing in the background. Steam-distilled from the leaves of Leptospermum petersonii in Australia, it has a sharp, lemony, slightly herbaceous smell distinct from true tea tree.
Energetic properties
Native to Australia and related to the better-known tea tree plant, this species has its own place in Australian bush tradition as a fresh, cleansing scent for the home. In aromatherapy tradition it is associated with focus and an uplifted mood, and it blends well with citrus or eucalyptus.

- Dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin, and patch test first
