Large Mango Wood Backflow Burner - Hamsa
This large backflow incense burner is carved from mango wood in a Hamsa hand design. Made for backflow incense cones, which release smoke that flows downward instead of rising.
Symbolism
The Hamsa hand is traditionally used across many cultures as a protective symbol. Many people place it near a doorway or altar to mark a space as watched over.
How to use
- Place the burner on a flat, heat-resistant, stable surface
- Use only backflow incense cones, sold separately
- Light the cone, let the flame settle, then set it in the holder
- Watch the smoke pour downward over the carved design
- Never leave burning incense unattended and keep away from children and pets
- Air the room while it burns

Ask about this piece
Measurements, materials, how a thing is meant to be used, whether two pieces go together: ask and a person answers. Natural stone and hand-made work vary from piece to piece, so the photograph shows one example rather than the exact item. Write to us.
