Handmade on the island of Lombok, this straight-sided vase is finished in a deep chocolate tone. It measures 32 x 15 cm, with a wide neck opening of around 8 cm.
Symbolism
An open vessel like this is, in many traditions, linked to the earth element and to receptivity, ready to hold water, flowers or an offering. The wide neck makes it easy to arrange even a loose, generous bunch of stems.
How to use
- Fill with fresh or dried flowers as a table or floor vase
- Handle carefully, as terracotta can chip if knocked
- Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth
