This is the smaller of the two diamond-shaped terrariums in the range, with faceted glass panels set in a brass frame. It measures approximately 10 x 10 x 14.5 cm and is made in China from glass and brass, making it easy to fit on a narrow shelf or windowsill.
Symbolism
The diamond form is often associated with clarity and strength, and its compact size here suits a single small plant, a few crystals or a scatter of trinkets rather than a larger arrangement. Clear glass on every side lets light reach whatever is placed inside.
How to use
- Place on a desk, windowsill or narrow shelf where a larger terrarium would not fit.
- Use to house a small succulent or air plant, or as a miniature display case for keepsakes.
- Wipe the glass panels with a soft, dry cloth and keep the brass frame dry to slow natural tarnishing.
