Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil 10ml

At bedtime, a drop of Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil on a tissue tucked near the pillow, or a few drops in the diffuser an hour before sleep, fills the room with the familiar sweet, fresh, slightly fruity scent of lavender. It is steam distilled from the flowering tips of Lavandula angustifolia grown in Bulgaria, one of the regions most associated with lavender oil production.

Energetic properties

Lavender is probably the most familiar oil in aromatherapy, traditionally linked to calm and rest, and used for centuries in perfumery for its soft floral note. Many people keep a bottle by the bed simply for the scent itself, as part of an evening wind-down routine.

How to use

• Add a few drops to a diffuser in the evening, or to bathwater once dispersed in a carrier oil or bath base.
• Dilute in a carrier oil such as sweet almond or jojoba before any other skin contact, and patch test first.
