Pressed from the flesh of the avocado, this base oil is a rich carrier that blends easily with essential oils and is well suited to skin care use.
Spiritual meaning
The avocado originates in Mexico and did not reach Europe until the early sixteenth century, with the bulk of crops still grown across Central and South America today. Centuries of selective growing across different climates have produced many varieties of the fruit, and its oil has long been favoured for mature or dry skin thanks to its easy absorption.
How to use
- Dilute essential oils into this base before applying to the skin
- Use as a nourishing base for massage oils or homemade blends
