You want the fresh, lemony character of true melissa in your evening blend, but the genuine oil is famously expensive because it takes an enormous amount of plant material to produce, so this blend recreates its profile from other oils instead. It combines citral from lemongrass, lemon oil, D-limonene from orange, ho wood oil and beta-caryophyllene from clove, chosen to echo the fresh, sweet, lemony scent of true Melissa officinalis.

Melissa, also called lemon balm, is traditionally associated with a soothing, uplifting mood in aromatherapy lore. Many people diffuse this blend in the evening for its bright yet gentle character.
How to use
- Add a few drops to a diffuser or oil burner
- Dilute in a carrier oil before skin use, and patch test first
