Ylang-Ylang Fragrance Oil takes its name from the heady, sweet flower of Cananga odorata, captured in a 10 ml bottle blended with a carrier base for a rich, long-lasting scent.
Symbolism
In parts of Indonesia, ylang-ylang blossoms are traditionally scattered over the beds of newly married couples, and the flower is widely associated with romance and relaxation in fragrance lore. Many people choose it to soften a room and slow the pace of an evening.
How to use
- Add a few drops to an oil burner or wax warmer dish with water, and light a tealight underneath.
- Blend into unscented potpourri or diffuser reeds for a gentler background scent.
- Keep burners and candles on a heat-resistant surface, within sight, away from draughts, fabrics, children and pets.
- Not intended for skin contact or ingestion.
