Symbolism
In Native American tradition, the dreamcatcher is hung near a bed to catch dreams as they pass through the night: good dreams are said to slip through the web, while bad dreams become tangled and fade with the first light. The design was later adopted in Bali, where it is woven with its own local craft and blessings.
