You open the box in the evening, when the illustrations look their best by candlelight, and draw a card as though turning a page from an old grimoire. The Spellbook is a 40-card oracle deck illustrated in monochrome detail, drawing on symbols long connected to folklore and folk magic.
Symbolism
Each card presents a sigil, creature, or emblem, from protective griffins to crowned figures, reflecting the long tradition of using symbolic imagery for guidance and reflection. In witchcraft-inspired practice, such symbols are read intuitively rather than by fixed meaning, leaving room for personal interpretation. The vintage, hand-drawn style gives the deck the feel of something found rather than printed.
