Satya Copal Incense Sticks
Beginning a new project, when the desk is finally clear and ready, you might light a stick of Satya Copal incense to mark the fresh start.
Symbolism
Copal resin has been burned since ancient times in Mesoamerican ceremony and cleansing tradition, closely related to frankincense in character. This incense carries that same bright, resinous quality, a fragrance long associated with clearing a space before something new begins.
How to use
- Light the tip until it catches, then blow out the flame so the stick smoulders.
- Stand it in a stable, heat-resistant incense holder to catch the falling ash.
- Burn in a ventilated room, away from curtains, papers and other flammable items.
- Never leave it burning unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Details
- Hand-rolled incense on a bamboo stick, made in India.
- Net weight 15 g, approximately 15 sticks per pack.
- Burn time around 30 minutes per stick.
- Recyclable packaging.

Ask about this piece
Measurements, materials, how a thing is meant to be used, whether two pieces go together: ask and a person answers. Natural stone and hand-made work vary from piece to piece, so the photograph shows one example rather than the exact item. Write to us.
