Symbolism
Himalayan salt is mined from ancient seabed deposits in the foothills of the Himalayas and is often described in wellness tradition as richer in trace minerals than ordinary table salt, which is said to give it a natural pink hue; this is a long-standing belief rather than a clinical claim.
